In my mind I'm ok

Even though my dad told me I wasn't that way

In my mind I look fine

Then darkness comes and takes away my shine

In my mind I need a mate

But no girl wants to give me a date

In my mind nothing's wrong with me

But that's not what everyone else can see

Someday I hope that I will shine

And the world will see me as I do In my mind.
