maddy harper Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2012 1 thing i have noticed is that i have a taste like rusty metal in my mouth all the time and its making food and drink taste yucky! i also have a constant thurst that refuses to bugger off no matter how much i drink. hopefully this is just a tempory side effect till i get use to the drug ad i hope it goes away rather soon because its not nice... Benway Posted November 20, 2012 Report Share Posted November 20, 2012 Hi Maddy, It's the zopiclone that causes that metallic taste in the mouth. If it really bothers you, mention it to your dr. and they might switch you over to zolpidem (Stilnoct,/ Ambien) as it is pretty similar but without the metallic taste.
