What Can I Do With My Pain?

This morning I was very depressive and I wanted to stay in the bed all day.

But I decided to wake up, write some good phrases and then started my day.

The pain is still here, but I'm not in the bed!! I'm doing something good!!

It's not easy and I can't do this all the time!! But I'm glad that I'm doing this today!!

Pain is our own. We must hold it, nurture it, caress it, sometimes loathe it. But it is ours. It belongs to us. And we can't function without it. x

Good work Lici, sometimes it's best to use the energy surrounding that pain and channel it into something constructive, it's also useful to distract from the pain sometimes. There are so many ways to take care of yourself and to adapt to difficult feelings. Well done! xx
