Riverspell Posted April 29, 2015 Report Share Posted April 29, 2015 Hello everyone! Been a while since I've been on. There's a lot of reasons for that but I'm not going to pile all that here. The biggest reason I was gone is because I traveled down to California for 3 weeks to meet a good friend. I've been home almost a month now and there was some insanity (and our internet was disconnected) but I'm back to being online. Well, I hope to be anyway. lolI've finished the trauma therapy setup with my therapist. The actual therapy is starting next week. We'll be doing exposure therapy and she warned me that it'll probably trigger me and make me a bit of a mess for a time. So just putting that out there as a warning of sorts. If I'm feeling too awful I probably won't be logging on so that I don't trigger others. At the same time I'm working on setting up a bank account so I can start seeing a DID specialist. She and I met in California and she thinks it's very likely that I have it but that she'll need to perform an assessment to be sure. Should I have it I'll be doing skype sessions with her to start working on healing that.Other than that not much has changed. I'm still with my mom and that's still rocky at times because of her health. One of our dogs is believed to have cancer but as she's 9 years old the vet said there isn't a whole lot to be done now except to control any pain. She's too old to be able to go through any surgery, if she were younger they'd remove one of her legs that's swollen from the cancer. But at this point it's not likely to help her. My Julio is continuing to be a lovable pain in my butt. lol. He's about 7 years old now so he's going to the vet this next month (May) for a check up and to get the shots my parents never got him. Recently he showed a streak of annoying genius and has learned to roll in the cat litter if he wants a bath. Not even joking.I'll put an image in the next post. If I can, it's not letting me. If you need to talk when you're going through it you can pm me. I think that even posting is ok, as long as you write trigger in the 'topic'... Well, do as you feel more comfortable with. But do feel free to pm if you need support. Poor doggy of yours. It looks so sweet. River, do post pictures. I love seeing trips' pictures.
