Welcome, I have always felt grossly misunderstood as well. Admitting to the therapeutic community that I have BPD has been my biggest struggle with acceptance so far, there are so many people that want to lable you into a box and are just waiting to for the right situation to say, see I got it right, she really is this way. It is one of thing things I hate most about this DX, being a person can so many time come second and even a thing you end up feeling you have to prove yourself to be a decent human being.
